JASON KOIZUMI

Aloha, my name is Jason Koizumi. I have been working in Hawaii as a freelance fine artist since 2000, specializing in graphite drawings and oil paintings. I also am part owner of EnvizArt, LLC., an online digital goods retailer that specializes in digital planners and stickers.

My journey as an artist has been nothing short of a winding road. At a young age, my parents introduced me to movies such as Star Wars and Disney animated movies. More than the movies themselves, I was enthralled by the creativity needed to create such films. Needless to say, I ended up majoring in cinema . However, after graduating and moving from L.A, where there is almost no greenery, back to Hawaii, my interest obviously turned to the beautiful landscapes that surrounded me. I started selling oil paintings and prints online. Recently, I have been doing more commissioned art including portraits and pet drawings along with designing digital stickers for EnvizArt. I still create oil paintings on the side for fun. There is something so zen when mixing paint colors on a palette.
